Children can decorate their palaces in whatever manner they choose and with any materials: paints, markers, crayons, glitter glue--the possibilities are endless. It can be a beautiful pink palace fit for a princess or a fierce fort for defending against a fiery foe. Regardless of their decorating choices, boys and girls alike enjoyed using the castle as a backdrop for hours of imaginative play. Decorating the palace is good for artistic development and honing of skills such as the pincer grasp and fine motor function. And the value of imaginative play cannot be overstated. All in all, the Calacastle is a well-designed, wholesome product that children will enjoy.
