When I visited Germany a couple of summers ago, I was
amazed to see tiny kids riding around confidently on small
bikes without pedals - they were able to ride alongside their
parents without training wheels, they just pushed with their
feet. I spoke to many proud parents over there and ended up
buying such a "balance bike" for my own 3 year old daughter.
This was the best buy ever! My daughter used her balance bike
effortlessly and comfortably after only one day. When she
turned four, she seamlessly made the transition to a real bike
with pedals while her friends struggled with training wheels.
We're still using the bike because it's so much fun, and many
of our friends have borrowed it so that their kids can learn to
balance easier.

Developed for children ages 2-6, the Boot Scoot has no
pedals. Instead, children use their own Boots to Scoot
themselves along, learning balance as they go. With fun and

birthday. If your child's inseam is at least 14" and he or she
can walk without assistance, then they are ready to ride. The
